Shartup
Shartup is a startup culture satire generator. It produces absurd company names, mission statements, and pitch decks using the visual language of startup culture, rendered entirely in Pantone 448 C, officially the world's ugliest colour.
What problem does it solve?
The startup world has its own dialect, and much of it is indistinguishable from satire. Shartup leans into that gap. It generates startup names, mission statements, and other artifacts of tech culture that sound plausible enough to make you uncomfortable, rendered in the world’s ugliest colour to make sure nobody mistakes them for the real thing.
How it works
Hit generate and receive a fresh startup concept complete with name, buzzword-laden mission statement, and visual identity. Everything is rendered in Pantone 448 C, the drab olive-brown designated by researchers as the world’s least attractive colour. The contrast between the grandiose language and the deliberately ugly presentation is the point.
Whom it’s for
Anyone who has sat through a pitch deck and struggled to keep a straight face. Designers, developers, and founders who can laugh at the culture they work in.
