Hex or Not
Hex or Not is a colour palette swiping game. Two thousand palettes, one at a time. Swipe right to save, left to skip. Copy the hex values of anything you love. A playful way to discover colour combinations you would never have picked yourself.
What problem does it solve?
Picking colour palettes from scratch is slow and biased. Everyone gravitates toward the same safe combinations. Hex or Not turns palette discovery into a game. Instead of building palettes, you react to them. The result is a collection of combinations you would never have chosen deliberately but immediately recognize as good.
How it works
Palettes appear one at a time. Swipe right to save, left to skip. Saved palettes go into a personal collection where you can review them and copy individual hex values. The pool contains 2,000 unique combinations, enough to break any colour rut.
Whom it’s for
Designers looking for unexpected palette inspiration, developers picking colours for a project, or anyone who enjoys the simple pleasure of swiping through beautiful colour combinations.
Tech
Client-side application. Touch and keyboard navigation.
