Beşiktaş News

Beşiktaş News gathers Beşiktaş JK coverage from Turkish and international sources into one list, including the club's own site and outlets that offer no RSS feed. Each headline links to the original article, a short summary at the top covers the last 24 hours by topic, and the list refreshes every 15 minutes. Turkish by default, with an English interface.

The Beşiktaş News reader in dark mode. A top bar holds the eagle mark with the Beşiktaş News wordmark and Mark all as read, Light mode, Türkçe and About buttons. The sidebar opens with an All, Türkçe and English switch with All selected, then Updated 12:55 pm and Next 1:10 pm side by side, then the sources grouped under Türkçe with 241 items and English with 44, each source with its own count. The main column opens with a Summary row of four short paragraphs on the Celtic away match, Orkun Kökçü's return, Celtic's form and a transfer report, followed by unread rows with red dots, each showing a source, a bold headline, an excerpt, a time and an arrow.

What problem does it solve?

Beşiktaş news is spread across many sites, and several of them, the club’s own included, offer no RSS feed. Following the club means opening each one and wading through the same story told over and over. Beşiktaş News puts every headline in one list that you read at your own pace.

How it works

Every 15 minutes the reader collects new items from feeds, news sitemaps and the public pages of sites without a feed, along with the club’s own channels and its stock exchange filings. Items older than five days drop off. Each row shows the source, the headline and a short excerpt, and opens the original article in a new tab. Filter by source from the sidebar, mark items read one by one or all at once, and switch between dark and light. The summary at the top sums up the last 24 hours by topic, in Turkish and English.

Whom it’s for

Beşiktaş supporters, in Turkey or abroad, who want the day’s news without push alerts or clickbait.

Tech

A static Astro site on a self-hosted server. A scheduled job reads every source, including pages that offer no feed, and rebuilds the page every 15 minutes. The browser runs one small script for filters, read marks and the language switch.
