Typechase
Typechase is a Firefox extension that lists every web font a page declares, grouped by family, with each file's weight, style and format. Files the page loaded on this visit are marked. Download any file on its own or all of them in one zip. It runs only when you click it and sends nothing anywhere.

What problem does it solve?
You see a typeface you like on a site and want to try it in a mockup. Finding the actual files means opening the inspector, digging through stylesheets and copying URLs one by one. Typechase does that digging in one click.
How it works
Click the toolbar button on any page. Typechase reads the page’s stylesheets, follows imports, and lists every font it declares, grouped by family. Each file shows its weight, style and format, and a badge marks the ones the page has loaded on this visit. Download a single file, or grab them all in a zip.
Whom it’s for
Designers who want to sketch with the type they spotted, and developers checking what a page loads.
Tech
A Manifest V3 Firefox extension in plain JavaScript, about 13 KB. It runs on the active tab only when clicked, needs no host permissions, and collects no data.
Frequently asked questions
What is Typechase?
A Firefox extension that finds the web fonts a page uses and lets you download them, one file at a time or all together as a zip.
Where does it find the fonts?
In the page's own stylesheets, including ones served from other domains such as Google Fonts, plus fonts embedded directly in the CSS.
Does it collect any data?
No. It runs only when you click its toolbar button, only on the tab you are viewing, and sends nothing anywhere.
Can I use the fonts I download?
That depends on each font's licence. Typechase finds the files. Check the licence before you use one in your own work.
Is it on Chrome?
No. It is a Firefox extension, on Firefox Add-ons.
