Salesfloor enables Store Associates create their personalized Storefronts for retailer’s e-commerce website. The product integrates an omnichannel shopping experience that allows customers to shop however they like; whether they buy in-store, online, or both simultaneously.
Improving relationships with customers dramatically, Store Associates have access to Salesfloor Mobile App, and a Back Office control panel on desktop.
Core application features include but not limited to receiving New Leads from online customers, 1 on 1 Appointment Requests, Direct Messages, and Live Chat.
As popularity of the product grew, the potential for better overall experience and more tools became clear — quick access to Request management, main KPIs, Product Library, Storefront Management, and Clienteling.
Reducing steps were the main goal to adjust the landing hub by grouping core functions that match Store Associates’ daily schedule.
To get both usability and conceptual feedback, we tested using a mix of paper and InVision prototypes. In three rounds of these tests, we tried around a dozen concepts.
We needed to build a design that would make the App reach its target audience with a user-centric design approach.
Main focus was on providing a clean visual communication that is easy on the eyes, quick to learn, and accessible.
Making Sales Associate want to stay in the App and be available to Customers was high priority.
Among all UI concepts designed, we chose to move forward with the look and feel that, according to most users, “felt confident to use” .
